I was born in the little city of Carson City Michigan. To this day the Populatioin is around 1200 people. My Mother always raised me to never forget "where I come from". This didn’t mean necessarily remember my birth place. I started rapping freestyling after church when i was around 11 or 12 years old. When I got into it I needed a name. When I was saying or expressing "Carson" it did something for me and it all felt organic. An easy way to express sticking to my roots but more so one that fit. "Carson" inspired me to be more. It always brings me back to remembering where I came from and remembering where I want to go in life.

Cliché was created as an aaddition to Carson as. I wanted the name to be complete.  Carson Cliché, represents the relatability that my music and my lyrics, my brand, my personality, my life, and everything about who I am, are so easily identifiable to any one in earshot.   Anyone who listens or views WILL find something that they connect with on a personal level. Simultaneously, the name also suggest and represent's not wanting to be a metaphorical "Cliché"as a person. Not wanting to settle for normal or content. Wanting to exceed my own expectations. and ecouraging other people to think like mindedly. I say this to explain that this is exactly what I am going to do. This Project walks you through a journey of my music career and my growth along the way.
